Originally from Jamaica, Bancroft Earle Levy warned an associate degree in business administration and management from Northern Caribbean University in 1974—after which he relocated to the United States with her parents. He attained a Master of Business Administration in accounting and finance from Northeastern Illinois University in 1993 and subsequently began a 23-year career as the director of finance at Howard Area Community Center in Chicago.
Over the course of his career there, from 1995 to 2018, he transformed the budget from about $500,000 to $6 million. In conjunction with that role, he served as the fiscal manager at Alternative School Network from 2009 to 2010 and taught finance within the Chicago College System for a year. Since 20198, Mr. Levy has excelled as the director of finance and operations at Eyes on the Future Child Development Center, an organization that offers a wide range of school-readiness programs for young children.
Attributing his success to his parents, Benjamin and Evadney, Mr. Levy’s future goal is to start a foundation in their name. Together with his sister, the aim is to dedicate the foundation to helping children with their education. Mr. Levy himself has nine children and 10 grandchildren.
